Not only appearance and fashion are important when choosing hats, it is also important to correctly assess their practicality. The main characteristics of our hats are breathability, ability (in winter and off-season models) to retain heat, hygroscopicity.
When buying a hat, it is very important to correctly determine your size, so that the novelty does not “slip” on the eyes and does not squeeze the head, creating discomfort.
Use a measuring tape to find out your size quickly and easily.
Place the measuring tape about 3 cm above the eyebrow line and measure the circumference of the head, placing the tape horizontally. Measurements should be taken directly above the ears and around the widest part of the head – this will be the conventional fit line of your hat. Repeat the measurement several times.
The circumference of your head in centimeters will be the size of your hat. If you get, for example, 56.6 cm, then the size for your hat will be 57.
The tape should fit the head, but not be tight! The way you feel about the ribbon is how you will feel about your hat.
ATTENTION! The buyer pays for the delivery additionally, it will be discussed in the chat between the seller and the buyer. The delivery price depends on the recipient’s address and the delivery company you choose.
Care instructions:
– Keep the hat on the wardrobe shelf or in a special cardboard box. Never store a hat in a plastic bag.
Before putting the hat in a box or closet, clean it with a soft brush, fill it with soft crumpled paper, tulle – to keep the shape.
– Do not hang the felt headdress on a hook – this will help you keep the shape of the hat for a long time.
– Keep the felt or straw hat dry and do not wear it on a rainy day.
– If your hat gets rained on, take care of it as soon as you get home. Gently shake off the water and leave the hat in a well-ventilated place on a flat surface or on a special hat dummy block (if you don’t have a dummy, a glass jar will do, for example). When the hat is dry again, gently brush it.
– Never dry the hat with heaters!
-Use a clothes brush when cleaning the felt hat.
– If your hat has metal decorations, we recommend avoiding contact with salty seawater, chlorine, cosmetics and strong chemicals to prevent tarnishing as much as possible.
– After a long stay in the sun, a straw hat can change its shade and become darker. Straw and sisal are natural materials, so a slight change in color is not considered a defect.
